Just reading about how wheat prices are continuing to sky-rocket (they doubled during 2007), which has the knock-on effect of bakeries increasing the prices of bread. Of course flour itself is also rising in price, but buying flour and making one’s own bread will still help keep costs down. We really ought to look into buying ourselves bigger sacks, even better value.
