they are so wonderful i could barely contain myself. made for the gods, by the gods. and me.

what is wrong with me that I'm now craving sweet, lovely things when before it was just salt, salt, salt all the way? is it cake-off? the more sweet things Dan makes to show off on the site, the more i am obliged to taste and the more normal it all becomes?

anyway. everyone must make these and then we can all become as fat as i will be when I've made Dan make them for my breakfast every Sunday

Plenty left J. Come over and have a slice one of these evenings. And it is v sticky and somewhat sickly.

It's probably another one of those recipes that needs a little work to perfect, but there's only so often you'll want to make it!

Ooh, I keep meaning to have a go at these. I used to find them too sickly (why on earth?!) but now they are something I crave. Bought the condensed milk ages ago, it's still sitting in the cupboard. Any left?
